The Rock House specializes in functional weight training. Features a variety of free weights and free weight machines and a free weight circuit training area.
The Rock House supports ellipticals vs. treadmills. Treadmills cause a lot of muscular imbalances, resulting in hip, knee and foot pain. A treadmill only works the front of your leg muscles, the belt pulls the back of the leg muscles passively. The Ellipticals work both the front and back of leg muscles and simulates a more natural running position. We also have bicycles and stair steppers in this aerobic area. We have kettle bells, BOSUballs, medicine balls, punching bags and ply boxes.
